To secure your seat and avoid the queues when boarding we recommend that you purchase your ticket to our summer trips with M/S Kungsö in advance. Regular tickets, issued by Västtrafik, are not valid on trips arranged exclusively by Styrsöbolaget. You can also buy your ticket on board as far as seats and space allows. Purchased tickets will not be refunded.

Come with us to Hönö Klåva

Hönö is a perfect spot to spend a day on. Bring your bike along and discover the southernmost gem of Bohuslän. Here you will find cliffs, white beaches, historical monuments, fishing boats, cosy restaurants, shops and wonderful nature. Don't forget to bring your beachwear as there are plenty of bathing opportunities at hand.

The dance on Brännö brygga

I recommend everyone to go with us to Brännö Brygga on a lovely summer evening! It offers both dance and music with fantastic views of our archipelago. Dance, swim or maybe have a shrimp sandwich and a glass of wine on our sun deck. It really is a perfect way to get the most out of summer evenings!

A sunday trip to Vinga

I highly recommend everyone to come with us to Vinga. Here you will find amusements for all ages, like bathing, fishing, a museum and guided tours. Swedish composer and singer/song writer Evert Taube is believed to once have said that "Vinga is the most beautiful place on earth", which I can understand. With our beautiful archipelago to the east and a clear horizon to the west Vinga is a breathtaking experience!

Our trips with M/S Kungsö depart from Stenpiren in central Gothenburg

Stenpiren is a hub with excellent communications connecting to a number of public transport lines. The Stenpiren Travelcenter can be reached by both tram, buses and boat. The stop is called Stenpiren.

FAQ about summer trips with M/S Kungsö

Yes, light meals are available, for example sandwiches, pizzas, pies, ice cream etc.

Yes, apart from non-alcoholic beverages we also serve beer, wine and sparkling wine on board.

No, we are a cash free ship. Payments can be made by bank card or Swish.

Dogs are welcome on board but must be kept on a leash and attended at all times. Please pay attention to passengers who do not wish to get in close contact with your dog.

Bikes can be brought as far as space allows and costs an additional 30 SEK/trip. The additional ticket have to be paid as you buy your regular ticket.

Yes, there is plenty of space.

Yes, M/S Kungsö is accessible.

When M/S Kungsö does not sail on its fixed summer schedule, the boat is available for rent. Here you can rent your party venue on water for your own event!
