Our routes operating on the river

Routes and tickets for the river traffic
The river traffic consists of three routes, operated by Västtrafik:
Line 285: Lilla Bommen–Klippan. Västtrafik’s Zone A fare applies on this route.
Line 286: Stenpiren–Lindholmspiren. Free route, funded by the City of Gothenburg.
Line 287: Stenpiren–Lundbystrand. Free route, funded by the City of Gothenburg.

Bicycles on the river ferries

Lines 286 and 287 are served by commuter ferries with lots of space for bicycles, making it easy for those who want to bring their bikes across the river.
Line 285 has limited capacity for bicycles, as they can only be placed on the foredeck. For safety reasons, bicycles must not be placed outside the yellow boundary lines that mark the evacuation routes from the front doors to the bow gates and doors.
It is free to bring bicycles on all routes, but space on board is always subject to availability. The deck crew determines how many bicycles can be accommodated on your specific trip. Mopeds, electric mopeds, or bulky bikes, such as “Cargo bikes,” are not permitted on board.
