All traffic information about our services is gathered in one place and written in Swedish.

Having a snack, a fika or a light lunch aboard during your journey is a popular way to enhance your trip. Cafés are generally open during the day, but not during late evening trips. The timetables indicate which trips that have open cafés. You can pay with bank card or Swish on board.

Not all our lines offer this service.

Västtrafik’s customer service answers questions about your public transport journey. They will be happy to provide information about the summer cruises with M/S Kungsö. You can also visit the ticket office at Saltholmen.

Yes. We want as many people as possible to be able to travel with us, so we have equipped all of our vessels with ramps to make boarding easier.

Our modern and environmentally friendly vessels will safely take you through the archipelago. We have both catamarans, electric and hybrid ferries.

Our ferries to the Southern Archipelago usually depart from Saltholmen, with some trips departing from Stenpiren. Stenpiren in the city is a hub for river traffic and summer cruises with M/S Kungsö.

To park your car at Saltholmen’s dock, you need a disability permit. Otherwise, you are directed to the parking areas at Långedrag tram stop, and during the summer season, also at Hinsholmen. Parking is subject to a fee. You can conveniently travel by tram line 11 (and line 9 during summer) from the city to Saltholmen. Some boat trips also depart from Stenpiren.

If you plan to travel in a group of more than 20 people in the archipelago, or 100 people in river traffic, we need a notification in advance to plan the capacity for the day. Please complete the group pre-registration form and send it to us so we can plan the traffic accordingly.

If you need assistance with logistics and transporting larger cargo and vehicles to the archipelago, we can help. Our cargo and vehicle ferry departs from Fiskebäck Harbor to the Southern Archipelago on weekdays. The ferry serves various islands according to the timetable.
